About Sacramento Soccer Alliance
Origin
In 2010 the Land Park Soccer Club (LPSC) and Greenhaven Soccer Club (GHSC) decided to cooperate closely on the development and management of their non-recreational soccer programs by forming the Sacramento Soccer Alliance (SSA). SSA is an alliance between the two clubs to promote and develop their competitive level programs.

Philosophy
To provide the soccer players in Sacramento an organized, high quality, seasonal, competitive level soccer program with licensed coaches and trainers. The ultimate goal of the program is to provide players the skills that will give them the opportunity to play soccer at a higher level (i.e year around Competitive, High School) if they so choose.

Training
Sacramento Soccer Alliance coaches will have the opportunity to have nationally licensed trainers come out to their practices and train their teams. SSA is affiliated with many professional soccer trainers.  Many of our Coaches are licensed above the required minimum levels and are on par with the training/licensing of Coaches in a “year round/paid position” at other clubs.

Coaches
Sacramento Soccer Alliance Head coaches all have at least a USSF ‘E’ license, with the Assistant coaches having at least the USSF ‘F’ license. The SSA highly encourages its coaches to obtain higher USSF and/or NSCAA licenses. The SSA coaches also receive in-house training administered by our Director of Coaching.
